Updated in the iOS App Store yesterday was the free
Geocaching Intro app from Groundspeak. The app is not available to new users but the update is available to existing users.

GCTools received another round of bugs fixes. Version 2.1.2 dropped from the iOS App Store today. It is a free app for limited functionality with in app purchases to enable the extra features.

c:geo received an update this morning but not information is available as to what has changed in this version (either through Google Play or their website). The
c:geo - opensource version 09.05.2012 app is free in Google Play.

Version 2.1 of
CacheSense for Androiddropped in
Google Play. According to the notes in the Marketplace this version includes:
- New database structure keeps all of your personal data (profile, field notes, waypoints, images, trackables) in a separate profile database.
- New features for copying and saving caches among multiple databases
- Many bug fixes, workflow improvements and other enhancements.
A free
30-day Trial version is also available.

Cinco de Mayo saw another version of the
GCTools app drop from the iOS App Store. Version 2.1.1 includes bug fixes and they ask you delete and redownload the app if you experience crashes. This is a free app for limited functionality with in app purchases to enable the extra features.

Awaiting me this morning was an update to the Munzee app for Android. Version 0.80 was release to the Android Marketplace with several updates (details are available through the
release notes). The app is available for free through
Google Play.

Having apparently missed the major version 2 upgrade to
CacheSense for Android, I did have version 2.0.01 waiting for me this morning. According to the notes in the Marketplace this version just has minor bug fixes. The full version is available in
Google Play and there is still a free
30-day Trial version.

NeonGeo is available through
Google Play. Version 1.160 has only one change listed on their
change log:
- Live Map fix (Sometimes downloads way more geocaches than necessary)

On the heals of server upgrades over at Munzee comes a new version for iOS users. The most visible change in this version are the new pins (created by user
s0l). They've also added a "Friends List" to the Rankings screen and support for "Virtual Munzees." Of course they've also added some bug fixes to this mix. The app is still free from the
App Store.

This morning I was greeted by another update to
NeonGeo right on the heals of the last. The app is now at version 1.155 and their
change log shows only "Various small fixes (Mainly Live Map related)." It is available in the
Play Store for $4.26USD for new users.

Just before heading to bed last night I found an update to the Munzee app for iOS users. This version seems to mostly address changes to the service announced this weekend but does still tackle a few bugs. The app is still free from the
App Store.

Checking my Android tablet this morning I discovered an update to NeonGeo. The app is now at version 1.154. Their change log doesn't seem to have been updated yet, but the "What's New" tab of the Play Store shows:

It looks like there's been a minor update this morning to the
Geocaching App for Android. The "What's New" notes on the Android Market simply state:
- Removed "Read phone state" permission
The release notes are not yet available from the Groundspeak forums. The app is still $9.99USD in the
Android Market.
