On todays show we talk about the ethics of caching. Say for instance is it ok to log a cache as found that you were there when it was placed but not the cache placer?

    >Interesting podcast. I'm wondering what your thoughts on why it matters if someone's cheating. It is certainly bogus, and they're losing out on the experience, but what's the benefit to them and the harm to others? I'm asking from the perspective of "should I be concerned and audit my own caches' logs?" (I think not.)On another topic, in the small handful of cases where I've replaced logs (or an entire cache), I've taken a photo of them and posted them to the entry (such in the case of GCK3WJ) or offered to send the owner the originals. No one's taken me up on that (what, squishy paper?!) – in fact, they usually recommend tossing it.Nanos are the worst offenders for full logs.

    >Jim I 100% agree with you on both points. There is no reason to audit the log. If they didnt sign it they are the one loosing out. And as far as replacing the container i think it is find as long as it isnt a special container that took some time to make. But i would be fine with someone just emailing me and offering the log or at least an image of it – XpunkX -
