The Geocaching International Film Festival is Back?
Send in Your Story Worthy Films for GIFF 2016

Submit a Film to GIFF!
Good news, geocachers! The Geocaching International Film Festival is back for the fourth year in a row.

In the past we’ve watched films about geocaching ballerinas, the secret lives of trackables, geocaching in space and more. There was laughter. There were tears (due to the laughter). Thousands of geocachers took part in a worldwide movie night.

The GIFF 2016 theme is Story Worthy Moments. We’re asking you to think of your most noteworthy, most exceptional geocaching stories…and get them on camera.

Watch this video to learn more.

Submit your film by August 1, 2016 for the chance to have it viewed by a worldwide geocaching audience. Learn more about Story Worthy Moments and how to submit your film on the GIFF 2016 website.

SB: my event in FLA on Tuesday GC6DE71

CS:

TAZ: What can be done about deadbeat cache owners?
Those who haven’t abandon caching, but won’t maintain their caches
Especially those who continue to place caches – should there be rules put in place to disallow them from placing new caches if they have too many ‘Needs Maintenance/Archived’ w/o a checkup?
Those who appear to have quit caching.
How long is too long to allow a ‘Needs Maintenance to Needs Archived to actual archiving a cache’
